The Six Line Wrasse is a small, energetic, and utilitarian reef fish that weaves through rockwork in constant motion, often picking at tiny pests like flatworms and small crustaceans as it goes. In many aquariums it can be peaceful when added last to a well-stocked community, but it may occasionally become territorial toward new additions or similarly shaped fish, especially other wrasses and timid species. It is considered reef safe with corals and clams.
Aquarium Requirements
The Six Line Wrasse thrives in a mature reef setup with plenty of live rock for grazing, hiding, and sleeping within the rockwork at night. A complex aquascape with caves, overhangs, and branching rock structures helps diffuse territorial behavior and gives this active swimmer room to explore without constantly harassing tank mates. A secure lid or mesh cover is strongly recommended, as this species can jump if startled or chased.

Saturdays and Sundays are the absolute best time to order, followed by Wednesday evenings. The closer you order to an inventory update, the better the available inventory.
What happens if something I ordered is unavailable?
We will email you to request a substitution. If you would like your original order, chances are good that it will be available to ship within the week (unless it is a very rare item).
Can I modify my order once it has been placed?
This is possible, but not guaranteed. Please email us if you need to modify your order or shipping address, and we will gladly make the changes for you, or let you know if it is too late.
