  • How to Order

    -Simply browse our site and add what you'd like to your cart. If you have special instructions or want to enter substitute items (in case something you ordered is unavailable), use the "Order Notes" section before checkout. We'd love the opportunity to select specimens that are a better fit for your tank.

    -NOTE: We cannot hold items for more than one business day before shipout. If you need to receive later in the week, please do not order until then.

    -Finally, be sure to enter a current email address for tracking information and order communication.

  • Shipping

    -We use UPS Next Day Air shipping to send your fish to you within one day. We ship Mon-Thurs, and we'll ship your order on the soonest possible business day unless instructed otherwise.

    -If you're in a rural area, if the weather is very cold/hot, or if you cannot receive your order in the morning, enter the nearest UPS Store as your shipping address to Hold for Pickup. Orders almost always arrive there first, reducing stress levels for your fish.

    -Same-day Shipping Cutoff time is 12:30 PM PST (unless otherwise announced), so if you order after 12:30 PM Mon-Thurs, your order will ship the following business day.

  • Inventory Updates and Unvailable Items

    -Please be available for a call or email after your order is placed. If an item is unavailable, we'll reach out for a substitution.

    -We will NOT ship a modified order without your confirmation. Your order will not ship if we cannot reach you.

    -If all items you ordered are available, we will proceed with shipment without contacting you.

    -We update our inventory several times per week to provide an accurate picture of what we have.

    -We restock our inventory toward the end of every week, and have a big inventory update every Saturday afternoon with new items!

  • 15-Day Guarantee Policy

    -Please be ready to receive and acclimate your fish on arrival.

    -Most fish are guaranteed for 15 days. Please refer to our Guarantee Policy page for full details and exclusions.

    -Maintaining communication is the key to a favorable resolution. If something arrives alive but unwell, please immediately take a photo and email it to us.

    -To file a guarantee claim, simply email us a clear photo of the fish outside of water along with a summary of what happened, and our claims team will review. Claims are usually processed in less than 2 business days.

    -Once your claim is approved, you will be emailed a credit code for the value of the item.
