Diamond Goby (Valenciennea Puellaris)
Key Facts
Also Known As: Diamond Watchman Goby
Compatibility, Behavior, and Environment: The Diamond Goby is a knockout combo of beauty, utility, and being easy to care for. Admired for its diligent sand sifting and striking appearance, this species spends most of its time on the tank bottom. You’ll see it sifting through your substrate, keeping it clean and aerated. It is a peaceful species, but it may occasionally be aggressive toward other Diamond Gobies if kept in a confined space.
