If you would like to allow for the smoothest possible journey for your livestock, we ask that you consider having your package shipped for pickup at a FedEx Ship Center or FedEx location at Walgreens or Dollar General.
Trucks deliver there first before they go out on residential deliveries, saving your package from potentially 3-12 hours of travel time in the back of a FedEx truck.
FedEx is delivering LATE during the holidays (as late as 9 PM), so shipping to a FedEx location to hold for pickup can make a SIGNIFICANT difference in stress levels for your livestock, especially in this cold weather.
How do I Have My Package Held for Pickup?
To ship to a FedEx location to hold for pickup, simply enter the most convenient FedEx Ship Center, or FedEx station inside Walgreens or Dollar General as your shipping address, and write "FedEx Hold for Pickup" on the "Company" line or "Address Line 2."
*Note that it MUST BE a FedEx Ship Center, or listed FedEx station inside Walgreens or Dollar General. Any other location will not allow holding for pickup of live animals and will return the package to sender, voiding your guarantee.
These packages are usually ready for pickup by 12 PM and will hang out in climate control until you come to pick up. Please pick your package up within 2 hours of delivery to the FedEx location.
Thank you for having your package held for pickup at FedEx! Your cooperation is a key to our success as well. This will reduce chances of stress and other issues for your livestock, and allow for a smoother acclimation.
We thank you as always for your cooperation and care in receiving your livestock!
